This is a location where hundreds of Japanese civilians and Japanese soldiers committed suicide by jumping to their deaths in 1944, in order to avoid capture by the United States. Thousands of civilians and Japanese soldiers committed suicide at the "Suicide Cliff" in 1944.

The ghost is said to be a man that escaped but ended up watching his wife be thrown off the cliff by British troops. He could not bare the pain and decided to jump off the cliff to be with her. To this day, reports have come in of people seeing someone jumping off the cliffs.
